If it’s Christmas, it means it must be time for a visit to the magical Village du Père Noël. For many Montrealers, it’s the next best thing to a visit to the North Pole.
Located in Val-David, it’s only about an hour’s drive north of the city. Santa’s Village offers a not-to-be-missed opportunity to see the big man himself, along with many of his elf helpers.
There are also other seasonal attractions to look forward to, whatever your age. First, take a sled ride or enjoy the miniature train, snow tubing, and ice skating. Wall climbing, ziplining, enjoying the animals at the petting zoo, or wandering the forest trails — it’s all happening at Santa’s Village in the winter!

Visiting once it starts to get dark is the big appeal for most when Christmas lights adorn the treehouses that are scattered about the park.
It all adds up to an unforgettable festive outing for the family. Even adults get as much enjoyment out of visiting the Village.
Forget the North Pole, Head North to Santa’s Village
If your child insists on a visit to Santa at the North Pole this year, then give them the next best thing. They are going to love a visit to the ever-popular Santa’s Village, or Village du Père Noël.
It all starts on the first two weekends in December. Then it really gets going everyday for the holiday season. Of course, Santa can’t be there on that special day, Christmas (closed).
