You don’t have to travel through traffic (both ways) to get to the hills up north for great snow tubing in Montreal and its surrounding areas. And now, there’s night snow tubing on Mount Royal to enjoy whatever your age.
It’s an exciting ride right next to the toboggan hill that overlooks beautiful Beaver Lake (Lac des Castors).
All you need is your snowsuit and other winter accessories, along with a pass (buy it at the equipment rental counter) and you can glide down the hills that are covered with natural and artificial snow.
It is weather permitting, so make sure you check with the Mount Royal website, Les amis de la montagne before heading out.
Snow tubing on the mountain is open everyday (time varies), except for Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, and goes on until March.
And, to make it even better, there’s now snow tubing under the stars on the mountain!
Evening snow-tubing on Mount Royal passes let you enjoy speeding down the snow-covered hill from 6 PM to 9 PM on Fridays and Saturdays from January 10 until March 7, 2020.
