Second Consecutive Day of 100+ New COVID-19 Cases in Quebec

As more than 77,000 students in Montreal head back to school today, Quebec is reporting over 100 new COVID-19 cases for a second consecutive day.

In fact, there were 111 new cases and one death reported at 6 PM last night, August 26. We now stand at 62,056 confirmed cases in Quebec.

There were 115 hospitalizations and patients in the ICU were at 15.

For 8 days, Quebec was reporting under 100 daily new cases and even reached below 50.

One million negative test results were reported in Quebec. Meanwhile, about 54,000 were resolved.
