With the Christmas season nearing, the Noël aux Flambeaux is coming back to the Plateau. And it’s not just your regular religious Christmas candle walk — it’s way more than that.

It all happens this weekend, on December 7, in the heart of the Plateau. The Noël aux Flambeaux brings more than 10,000 people on the streets with candles in hand. They celebrate Noël dans le Parc with a mission to raise money for Moisson Montreal, the non-profit organization.

What to Expect?

There’s so much magic on this night — with music and Christmas choirs and more, like the musical fireworks show that happens over Lafontaine Park.

Bring non-perishable food to get a free torch, or get it with a $2 donation.

It all starts at 7 PM on the corner of Mont-Royal and Cartier streets, at Parc des Compagnons.

The celebration ends at Lafontaine Park, where there’s a benefit concert by Clay and Friends, a Montreal band that starts at 7:30 PM.
