The Canadian Food Inspection Agency, or CFIA, recalled an American brand of peaches today due to possible Salmonella contamination.
Numerous Canadian importers are recalling the Prima Wawona brand peaches after a warning issued by the CFIA not to eat, use, or sell the fruit.
Even though the fruit looks fine, it can still make you sick because there are no visible signs of Salmonella contamination.
The company recalled its peaches in the United States, which led to the Canadian recall.
