Just this past Saturday afternoon a special yearly event took place when hundreds of bike riders joined the annual Naked Bike Ride. The international event is a protest against the world’s dependency on fossil fuels and cars.
The Naked Bike Ride was originally organized by Conrad Schmidt, a social activist, and took place in Vancouver in 2002 in protest against the Iraq War.

This year’s event started at Dorchester Square in downtown Montreal, where it has been hosted annually since 2007.
