According to Environment Canada, Montreal and area will have to deal with another heatwave this week with daytime temperatures exceeding 30 degrees Celsius! And, combined with the humidity will feel more like 40 degrees right through until Friday and possibly longer.
The nights won’t cool down too much either to provide relief. Thursday overnight, for instance, will feel more like 29 degrees C.
On Friday, the high expected is 35 but with the humidex values 42!
These are the affected areas of the coming heatwave:
- Châteauguay – La Prairie area
- Laval area
- Longueuil – Varennes area
- Montreal Island area
