Quebec’s largest science festival, Eureka! is right here in Montreal at the Old Port and it’s totally FREE!
With over 100 activities and more than 60 interactive experiments and workshops that kids can take part in, the 13th annual Montreal science festival is sure to be a hit.
Kids can create their own slime, and there will even be The Magic of Chemistry, showing explosive demonstrations. It’s an amazing time for science and kids of all ages, and even parents!
Even Montreal software engineer, Alexandru Duru, a Guinness World Record holder for longest hoverboard flight will show off his incredible skills each day as he hovers over the St. Lawrence River.
Polytechnique Montreal’s human-powered submarines can be explored by kids, as can the University of Toronto’s solar race. There’s an endless list of exciting things kids can learn at this fascinating science festival.
Adults also get presentations and conferences on the future of transportation, sustainable mobility, green initiatives and more!
Eureka! has drawn over 900,000 visitors since 2007.
Certain shows and activities are bilingual, while some are only available in English and others only in French.
Science or Magic will also be on hand to uncover the phenomena that have continue to lead us to fascinating discoveries. Or, you might enjoy Bugs on Stage, an interactive musical. There’s something for everyone, so don’t miss out!
