The 2019 Montreal Pride Parade will be, as always the largest parade in our city.
The theme for this year’s 35th annual Montreal Pride is the rainbow flag, as it has been for several years, except that they’re highlighting the “violet” color. This is the color that symbolizes, according to their website, “dreams, gentleness, and peace.”
The parade takes place on August 18, 2019, following its usual route, from 1 PM to 4 PM.

Montreal Pride 2019 starts at the corner of René-Lévesque Blvd. and Metcalfe Street to end on Alexandre-DeSève Street arriving right in the center of the new Village.
At 2:30 PM, there will be a moment of silence to honor the lost members of the community.
Not only is the Montreal Pride parade the biggest in the city, it is also one of the most vibrant with an incredibly festive ambiance.
Expect to see lots of themed floats and musicians, dancers and colorful people, according to Fierté Montreal.
Everyone is welcome and it’s FREE.
Pride Montreal highly recommends the use of public transport for this event.
