Dr. Laurent Duvernay-Tardif plays for the Kansas City Chiefs, who’ll be playing against the San Francisco 49ers on February 2.
What’s even more shocking is that his Kansas City coach, Andy Reid is also a McGill Med School graduate. Talk about an educated team!
Lucky for his understanding coach, Dr. Duvernay-Tardif had a flexible schedule that allowed him to complete his degree.
He went on to say that it was his goal and ambition to become the first-ever NFL player to graduate in medicine from a prestigious university.
