It all starts with a parade in Montreal’s hip neighborhood, The Plateau. Expect lots of vibrant colors on the huge floats, in addition to the pulling of the 40 ft cart, musical performances and dancing. It’s a real party!
There will be henna and facial decoration, as well as meditation and yoga workshops, ayruvedic massage, a South-Asian bazaar, and dance and theater exhibitions.

The parade will make it way through The Plateau. It begins on St-Laurent Blvd. at the corner of Milton. The parade will then end near the corner of Park and Mont-Royal Avenues. The festivities will then shift to Jeanne-Mance Park.
Festival-goers will also have the opportunity to enjoy free vegetarian Indian food. Additionally, there will be many family activities for all ages.
