Yet another thing for Montrealers to be proud of! This time, the best of Montreal is our university…
McGill University has landed itself in the top 50 ranking schools in the world, as named by the QS Top Universities 2018 ranking. Montreal took the 32nd spot on the list out of 1,000 universities.
The rankings are made on criteria including Academic Reputation, Employer Reputation, Faculty/Student Ration, Citations per faculty, International Faculty Ration, and International Student Ratio.
McGill earned a spot in the top 50 thanks to its ’50 research centers and institutes, 400+ programs, rich history and thriving alumni network of 250,000 people around the globe.’
McGill is kept company by another Canadian university, the University of Toronto, which came one spot higher at number 31.
The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) managed to win the top spot on the list for the sixth year in a row.
