How many green Christmases have there been in Montreal is the question on most people’s minds as they look out their windows and see grass, once again, on the eve of the big day. Old Montreal at Christmas time might start looking more like the picture above.

Although there was snow in the forecast for Montreal just a few days ago, sadly, we’ve ended up with a green Christmas. No magical holiday snow. It’s rare, but it’s not the first. So, how many Montreal green Christmases have there been anyway?
