Just for Laughs 2018 Returns With Huge Names Performing at the Montreal Event


Montreal is renowned for its worldly events, like the Just for Laughs 2018 Comedy Festival. The event is back with a bang after a very rocky last few months, as the founder, Gilb stepped down after being accused of sexual abuse. Luckily, funny guy and Canadian, Howie Mandel swooped in and partnered with a group to purchase the Montreal Comedy Festival.

Almost immediately after the Montreal International Jazz Festival comes to an end, the Just for Laughs Festival opens and runs from July 11 to July 29.

Since 1983, the French event began, called Juste pour Rire. Just two years later, in 1985, Just for Laughs (the English version) was born in Montreal. It is now the biggest international comedy festival in the entire world! Each year, the Montreal comedy festival brings about 2 million visitors from around the world.
