You might be looking out and seeing way more grass than usual in December, but according to the Weather Network, the forecast shows it’s going to be a white Christmas after all.
In fact, they say we should get between 1 and 3 cm on December 25. That’s in addition to the 9 cm they’re forecasting from now to the big day.
In the meantime, between now and Christmas Day, there’s crazy and unexpected weather to deal with.
Today, for example, we have a snow squall watch for the Montreal area this afternoon.
That could cause crazy weather conditions that go from clear blue skies to heavy snow within a couple of kilometres, according to Environment Canada.
So, be careful when driving as visibility can be reduced dramatically and suddenly.
Besides the snow squall watch for Wednesday afternoon, we’ll get a total of about 22 mm of rain on Friday, Saturday and Sunday — not exactly typical weather for Montreal in December.
