POP Montreal’s International Music Festival is coming back for its 17th edition and the headliner lineup has been announced.
The 5-day event in September will present the next generation of independent art and music talent to fans.
The festival brings everything together with artisan and visual art exhibitions, fashion shows, concerts, symposiums, film screenings, and even all-night parties.
The talent that will take place in the 2018 edition of the International Music Festival is diverse and sure to provide fans with an experience of pure creativity. This is the festival’s main goal.
Headliners like SOPHIE bring the electric pop and ‘hyperkinetic’ music while others like Wanda Jackson bring down the house with rockabilly. The festival will also include indie bands like Montreal’s Wolf Parade and pop R&B artists like American Kilo Kish.
POP Montreal offers performances in an unprecedented range of music from moody dance Franco Caribbean to garage disco-punk. The audience will be able to take their pick from work by over 400 artists appearing at this year’s festival.
You can get tickets to the festival on the POP Montreal website. They range from $115 for the Discovery Pass which will give you access to all shows and line-skipping abilities, to $10 to $60 for single show admissions.
If you’re looking for the full experience, you can invest in the $400 VIP pass that will give you priority entrance to each show, invitations to VIP cocktails, and backstage privileges.
POP Montreal will host shows at different locations throughout Montreal. There will be main shows at the Mile End’s Rialto, Cinema l’Amour, La Salle Rossa, La Vitrola, and La Casa del Popolo.
