Beaconsfield Community Pools In Trouble?

Beaconsfield Mayor Georges Bourelle is setting aside $30 million for the Parks and Green Spaces Master Plan. In the council meeting on Monday, he claimed that a part of that budget was set aside to repair or upgrade the community pools. However, for them to be brought up to code, it would require at least $10 million more!

It’s not likely for the pools to close, but it seems much more in tune with reality that the town will need private funds to make these upgrades.
