Coronavirus Update – 43 Died Last Night in China as WHO Declares Global Emergency

Air Canada stopped all direct flights to China when the federal government put out an advisory to avoid any non-essential travel due to the coronavirus outbreak. And, it’s not just Canadian airlines cancelling flights, others have also followed suit, such as American Airlines.

It’s believed that this suspension of direct flights to China’s mainland will last until the end of February.

Meanwhile, 43 people died overnight due to the new coronavirus, all of which are in China. That brings the death toll to 213.

According to the Guardian, two patients have tested positive in the UK.

We’ll have to wait and see just how the governments and the medical communities around the world will deal with what can become a global crisis.
