Centaur Theatre Playing a Role in Introducing Children to Theatre


The Centaur Theatre Company, along with the TD are on a mission to introduce children to the beautiful world of theatre in a fun and affordable way for the entire family.

Throughout the season and on select Saturday mornings, live performances for kids by Montreal‘s best talent will be on stage to awaken their imagination.

Family-friendly entertainment begins at 10:30 in the morning, chock-full with culture and live performances:

October 21: Ages 5+.Enjoy TUUP, a professional storyteller to tell the story of the Jaguar and the Snake King in Jaguar: Stories of the Rain Forest.

November 4: All ages. Rag & Bone Puppet Theatre performs The Doll’s House. It’s about a young doll that lives in a shoe-box with her family and has to deal with the new arrival, the doesn’t go as smoothly as everyone had hoped.

November 18: Ages 9+. Mister Jesse, and art educator and puppeteer hosts Puppet Karaoke with furry friends. The kids get to sing and dance along.

December 2: Ages 2 – 8. See Enchanted Miss Lost, the amnesic Princess who will save the day and ensure there will be a Holiday Season, even though a grumpy spirit once these special days to disappear forever.
