Canada continues to thrive and continues to include people of all backgrounds. Now Canada made the top 20 countries for LGBTQ employees!
Canada is always ranking high when it comes to diversity and inclusion, and it’s no different in this case, according to a study by SSR or Sivler Swan Recruitment.
Numerous factors in the workplace determined who made the list, including discrimination laws in the workplace, employee rights, inclusion of the LGBTQ community and minimum wage.
Canada is at number 18 on the list! Shockingly, the United States did not make the list, although Mexico and Colombia did. First place went to Luxembourg, followed by Australia.
While 18 means we’re on the right track, there’s still more work to be done.
