Most people in Montreal and those visiting the city are very familiar with Buonanotte because of its great food and so much more!
Buonanotte, a Montreal restaurant that had been in business for 27 years and had a become one of the most famous spots in the city, may have closed its doors for good. The restaurant’s owners informed their employees that they’re trying to negotiate with the landlords, but employees haven’t gotten any updates.
Buonanotte reportedly owed over $70,000 to their employees. The Buonanotte spokesperson said that he doesn’t know what’s happening with the restaurant, but says the owners treated him well and wishes them luck.
The Toronto location, open for five years, closed earlier this month, with the restaurant’s Facebook page saying it was due to the construction of the Nobu Hotel.
