There may be a pandemic that has us social distancing, but there’s some good news: the famous poutine festival will go on, with a twist. Le Grand Poutinefest is actually returning to Montreal in what’s a first for them–as a drive-thru.
This way, we can get our delicious, mouthwatering poutines even during a year that’s changed everything about the way we live, shop, and socialize.
The poutine festival starts tomorrow, August 27 and goes until August 30, featuring 5 street food trucks.
You can get 13 different poutines using QR codes found on the festival site posters. Or, if you want to plan your order ahead, check them out on their Facebook page.
Only debit and credit cards are accepted, so leave the cash at home.
And, remember that the festival is following COVID-19 protocols, so you can’t park your cars, nor can you get out of them to enjoy your food or socialize on site.
The 2020 Montreal Le Grand PoutineFest will take place in Anjou at the Galeries d’Anjou mall Thursday August 27 – Sunday August 30.
