Just For Laughs announced today that it will be back, even with COVID-19, but things will be a bit different this time around.

Although it was confirmed in April that the Montreal comedy festival would be postponed until the fall, today’s news is that it will be back but only virtually. The same is true about Juste pour rire.

However, The Ethnic Show and The Nasty Show won’t be. Instead, they will be postponed to next year.

Depending on the COVID-19 situation come fall, Juste pour rire, scheduled now between September 29 and October 10, may even have live performances along with virtual ones.

Just For Laughs will be virtual and on its new online portal. This event will take place on October 9 and 10.

But, you’ll have to wait a few weeks more to hear more details about the festivals’ programming.
