The 2019 Tour de l’Île de Montréal is set for Sunday, June 2. Get ready for the city streets to be flooded with cyclists for the annual Go Bike Montreal Festival.
The official biking season has kicked off in the city, with even Bixi Bikes sometimes hard to come by. Spring took a little longer to get here, but finally, Montrealers are getting out there.
The Go Bike Montreal Festival is actually split into two parts, starting with the 21 km route of Tour la Nuit on Friday, May 31 from 8:15 PM to 9:30 PM. The event’s route begins at Park Avenue (avenue du Parc) and ends at Jeanne-Mance Park, followed by fun-filled entertainment.
The second part is the much anticipated Tour de l’Ile on June 2, starting at Park Avenue (avenue du Parc) at 9:15 AM. Finish at parc Jeanne-Mance with great entertainment after 11 AM.
Participants must register for each event for a fee, but it’s free for kids under 12.
